GIS stands for geographic information system. When used by local governments, GIS is a computer technology that combines geographic data - which includes both natural and man-made features of a specific surface area - and other information such as street names, zones, property values and demographics to generate visual maps and reports.
Any new building and any alteration that adds on to or changes the structure of an existing building must be approved by the City.
Please note that the Supplementary Valuation Roll for the financial year 2022/2023 is open for public inspection from 31 August 2022 to 7 October 2022.
Late objections will be treated as queries.
